Cranfords was established in 1972, making it one of the oldest Independent Estate Agents in Guernsey.
The Cranfords team today comprises dedicated and highly motivated sales professionals specialising in the sale professionals specialising in the sale, rental and management of residential property in Guernsey.
The team is overseen by Managing Director, Brian Castle, who purchased the company from long term friend Jerry Root in November, 2007. Brian worked as a civil servant for 30 years, and was, amongst other things, Chief Officer of Housing and IDC and Head of Human Resources in the Policy Council. Brian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Developments and is currently the Vice President of the Guernsey Chamber of Commerce. Brian deals with the majority of the property viewings for Cranfords as well as the valuations and the taking-on of new properties.
Overseeing the day-to-day running of Cranfords is Office Manager Kirsty Green. Kirsty spent two years working for another local estate agency, before joining Cranfords in 2008, having also worked in the Civil Service and in the media. As well as managing the office, Kirsty deals with all of the property advertising, production of property details and handles the legal procedures, surveys and queries of your property purchase or sale.
Léonie de la Fosse, Cranford’s Property Manager is no stranger to property either, having previously worked for another Estate Agency in France. Léonie joined Cranfords in June, 2010, having returned from France where she worked as a negotiator and dealt with property managment also. Léonie also does viewings and assists Brian with the valuations and take-ons of new properties.
