2025 Cranfords Overview
As we approach 2026, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who supported Cranfords Estate Agents throughout 2025.
It has been another strong year for us, although not without its challenges.
One of the biggest undertakings was the development of our new bespoke website, alongside the integration of a brand-new backend system. It was certainly a long-winded process, but we got there and we’re extremely pleased with the end result! Getting to grips with our new drone was also great fun. Implementing drone footage has allowed us to offer even greater versatility and optimize photography and videography for our clients’ properties.
Staff changes can always be challenging, but as ever, my fantastic team went above and beyond to welcome, support and nurture new members. This year we were delighted to welcome Jake Domaille , Woody James and Harry Cummins. All three have quickly become valued members of the Cranfords team, bringing their ‘A’ game and further strengthening our already high calibre team.
My brilliant mum, Corinne Bacon, has faced her own personal challenge this year after being diagnosed with kidney cancer. I’m incredibly grateful and blessed to say that, with everything crossed, she has had a kidney removed and is doing great. Throughout it all, she continued to support both me and the business — an amazing achievement. Well done, Mum!
My equally brilliant dad, Stephen Alan Bacon — who never seems to stop — has been fantastic in supporting Mum and the wider family, while also keeping the office carpets fresh and the plants thriving. As our Maintenance Manager, Dad handles a wide range of client property and management tasks. I truly believe that because of him, Cranfords offers one of the most robust and accommodating lettings and property management services on the island.
With Jake now onboard as our Rental Department Administrator, our lettings and management services continue to go from strength to strength!
My right-hand man, Nathan De Carteret continues to move forward on his path of growth, experience and expertise. From his very first work experience day to where he is now, Nath has come an incredibly long way. His confidence, knowledge and excellent client relationships are consistently recognized and further cement his place within the foundations of the company — and he continues to make me very proud.
..and of course, my amazing Sister, Francesca Sanchez continues to hold the front line and battles the properties through to completion, ever more growing in confidence and expertise while being a fabulous mummy to her 3 boys. Well done Sis!
As always, life throws its fair share of curve-balls — lessons, new experiences and, at times, devastating news. It’s how we respond to those moments that defines us. We get knocked down, but we don’t stay down. We keep getting back up and striving for a better tomorrow, even when today hurts. We don’t give up — and if my brilliant wife, Carrie Bacon, has anything to do with it, quitting is never an option especially when the pain feels unbearable.
We continue to grow and succeed as a business, and more importantly, as a family. Without the unwavering support of our friends, family and, of course, our loyal clients, the story would be very different.
I remain as committed as ever to driving Cranfords forward into 2026 and beyond, and I very much look forward to working with you all in the near future.
